Montgomery County Schools' Nutrition Program is committed to serving nutritious, well balanced meals to students daily. The school nutrition program participates in the National School Lunch Program, National School Breakfast Program and Seamless Summer Program. All programs are regulated and funded by the the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) with the School and Community Nutrition Unit of the Georgia Department of Education overseeing the program administration. We strive to help build healthy children ready to learn.
We have two operating lunchrooms where we serve an average of 1200 meals per day. Each lunchroom is supervised by the cafeteria manager. Both cafeteria managers, are ServSafe Certified. Currently the program employs ten employees. We offer breakfast and lunch at both lunchrooms. USDA Child Nutrition guidelines and standards are followed in preparation and service of meals.
All students receive Free Breakfast and Lunch.
Please feel free to stop by and visit either of our Lunchrooms at any time. We welcome Parental Input and look forward to providing for your child nutritional needs during the school day.
